Recently introduced to avocado toast, I was immediately hooked! Some might say obsessed! It quickly dominated my morning breakfast meals and often appeared as a midnight snack! From the perfectly toasted bread (I love Dave’s 21-grain thin slices)…to picking the perfectly ripened avocados…top with ripened tomatoes that into your mouth like little flavor bombs and sprinkle with special pink salt…Sign me up for that!!!
To start you will need all the usual suspects…
2 slices of Dave’s 21 grain killer bread, thin slices – toasted
2 Large Hass Avocados
Organic Grape Tomatoes
Pink Himalayan Sea Salt

I buy the coarse grind and then add to my grinder. I just find it creates more versatility. Sherpa Pink Gourmet Himalayan Salt

Step 1 – Slice the avocados in half and remove the pit.
Step 2 – Add avocado flesh to a bowl
Step 3 – Add lime juice and salt to the bowl
The amount you will use will all depend on the size of your avocados and your individual taste buds. Its always better to start with a little juice and salt…You can always add more! There is nothing worse than an overly salted, limey avocado toast with no avocados in sight to add!
Step 4 – Mix avocado, lime juice and sea salt. Toast your bread.
Meanwhile, while mixing, toast your favorite bread. I had found mine to be Dave’s 21 Grain bread found here, at most grocery and food stores and also at costco in a 2-pack.
Step 5 – Slather the avocado love all over the toasted bread
Step 6 – Top with tomatoes
Final Step – Enjoy the Love!
